An exploration into the personal value which is placed on possessions and found objects, imagery and text. This is a gentle critique of the financial value, which is, seemingly arbitrarily, placed on art objects, rendering them elite and inaccessible to most viewers.

Aphorisms of Reloving, Together (again, again) Workshop led by Slow Matter.
A two-day walk-in screen-printing workshop where participants screen-printed on fabric/clothing they brought. Work made remained drying in the studio space, which was then transformed into an exhibition on Friday evening. This exhibition (and the workshop as a whole) welcomed new students, current students, staff, technicians and friends back into the department, with refreshments provided by the fourth-year bar.

Repurpose Your Old Prints, workshop led by Slow Matter and Newcastle University's Print Forum
Transform and repurpose your old prints into beautifully bounded notebooks!
This is a drop in workshop open from 10:00-16:00 on Wednesday 16th November
in the etching room (main printmaking room above reception). Bring in old prints, drawings and painting to be cut, collaged and bound into A5 notebooks. Materialsare provided.

Aphorisms of Reloving, Together | Workshop led by Slow Matter.
A one-day walk-in screen-printing workshop. Participants worked in pairs, focusing on words (an idea, a secret, a poem, found text, or original writing) to create stencil screen prints. As the day progressed, the prints were left to dry in the shared space, allowing everyone to see and be inspired by each other’s work. The day culminated in an informal exhibition showcasing the pieces created throughout the workshop.

Say Yes! Workshop led by Slow Matter, in collaboration with Erika Servin.
Letterpress workshop on the Adana Press focused on exploring three-letter words. A total of 40 books were hand-bound during the workshop, with each participant receiving a copy.
